Dr. John Wollney has been practicing orthodontics in Libertyville for over 35 years at the same location.  He now enjoys treating the next generation of his patients.  After graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, he did his dental and orthodontic training at Loyola Dental School.  Dr. Wollney is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, Lake County Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.  Among the various boards on which he has served over the years, he is a past president of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Wollney enjoys making a difference in people’s lives.  As an orthodontist, he has helped them make a positive change not just in their appearance, but also in their self-esteem.  In that way, he is not merely treating their teeth.  What he has been doing for many years is helping people feel better about themselves.  He is very proud of the fact that his practice receives over one-half of his new patients through referrals from satisfied former patients.

When Dr. Wollney is not in the office straightening teeth, he’s a frustrated golfer and enjoying his leisure time with his children and grandchildren in Fort Myers, Florida.
